Mission

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Galati promotes a coherent policy of economic and social development of the county, through actions and initiatives aimed towards three main directions:

• Locally, nationally and internationally representation and protection of companies’ economic interests at political, economic and administrative level;

• Development of a variety of specialized services of support for companies and entrepreneurs, in all areas of activity and regardless of the business stage;

• Institutional development, setting up companies, foundations and associations, structures managed by the Chamber in a very active manner (The Romanian Business School Foundation, Foundation for the Promotion of private SMEs, C.C.I. Veritas S.R.L. Galati, foundations for support for groups presenting social risk, like elders, families with many children), assistance for NGOs active in areas like economy, social, education, environment protection etc.

Profile

Galati Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is an autonomous, non-governmental, apolitical organization, with no patrimonial purpose, with legal personality, established with the aim of representing, protecting and supporting the interests of its members and of the business community in their relations with public authorities, national and international organisms.

Galati Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, member of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has developed national and international co-operation relations with Chambers of Commerce, institutions, local and central administration authorities. Through these partnerships and also by participating in several EU programmes for technical and financial support, the Chamber has developed numerous initiatives of great interest for both the business community and the civil society from Galati.

All services rendered by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Galati, regarding the promotion of international commerce, the development of industry and services, are permanently diversified and improved in a manner that supports companies confront the exigencies of the internal and international markets.
